Like most small businesses, we find ourselves working around the clock, therefore we often respond to emails long after traditional business hours, sometimes as late as 10 p.m.!
We would love to have a showroom, but as a small business, in an effort to control costs and provide free shipping (see our policy here), we currently do not having a physical store. We guarantee that you will love your Seattle Cedar product and if you are not happy with your purchase we will do everything in our power to make it right.
All of our products are pre-stained with Penofin Ultra Premium (Red Label – Transparent Western Red Cedar) Penetrating Oil Finish. It provides 99% UV protection against fading and utilizes Brazilian Rosewood Oil to protect the cedar against moisture. This stain can be reapplied after a year or two, if you like. Please, do not attempt to put a second coat of finish right after purchasing our products (or within first 3-4 months), as it will result in an adhesive layering and the finish will blister, gum up or peeling off.
Our planters come with 1 or 2 holes drilled in the bottom for drainage. We do not include any linings in our planters.
We often get requests for the addition of center holes in our picnic tables so that customers can insert an umbrella. We can easily add a 1 3/4″ center cut hole for an additional $15, just choose that option on the individual product page prior to checkout.
